OFFICIAL barcard XPRESS® CONTEST RULES
By entering any ongoing barcard XPRESS® draw, contest, giveaway, sweepstakes or otherwise (the “Contest”) by any means, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules. The decisions of Tridore Inc. with respect to all aspects of the contest are final.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Any Contest is sponsored by Tridore Inc. (the “Sponsor”). The Sponsor is responsible for the operation of the Contest and is the sole supplier of all prizing. This Contest and any other Tridore Contest is open to residents of Ontario only. You must be a resident of Ontario and of legal drinking age in Ontario to enter this Contest.
ELIGIBILITY: To enter and to be eligible to win, a cardholder must have reached the legal drinking age in Ontario and who is not an employee of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies or agents, their respective advertising or promotional agencies or a member of any such employee’s immediate family (whether related to the employee or not). In these Official Rules, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse. You must have your friend or family member’s permission to include them in your entry into the Contest.
HOW TO ENTER A CONTEST:
You are not entered into the Contest unless you have entered online or by mail at barcard XPRESS c/o 7251 Topping Road, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, L4T 2Y6
You may enter a barcard XPRESS Contest in two (2) different ways:
(1) Visit barcardxpress.com. Next, click on the “Convenience Card” icon to enter the Contest. Click on the heading “Protect Your Card” and fill out the necessary information as directed. You will be automatically entered into the barcard XPRESS Contest Sweepstakes once you have registered. If you are a “winner” you will be required to answer, without assistance of any kind, mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question. Please indicate whether you would like to receive information regarding upcoming promotions from the Sponsor. Please confirm your compliance with the Official Rules, Upon doing all of the foregoing, please click the “Submit” icon and you will be entered automatically once into the Contest; or
(2) Submit a Registered letter to Contest Office – barcard XPRESS c/o 7251 Topping Road, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, L4T 2Y6 with your 22 digit barcard XPRESS Card Number, full name, date of birth, age, complete mailing address (including postal code), daytime telephone number (including area code), valid email address and mobile telephone number. Next, answer without assistance of any kind, mechanical or otherwise, the mathematical skill-testing question, indicate whether you would like to receive information regarding upcoming promotions from the Sponsor and confirm compliance with the Official Rules.
PRIZES: There will be quarterly prizes available to be won consisting of the following:
1. A random draw from among all eligible entries. Quarterly Prizes are subject to change without notice. The quarterly draw dates are on the last day of each quarter in a year. Prize lapses after fourteen (14) calendar days from the Quarterly Draw Date. The identity of a cardholder as selected entrant must be established prior to being rewarded a prize.
2. Odds of being selected for any prize depends on the total number and scale of eligible entries received by no later than 12:00PM EST (Toronto, Canada time) on the day of any given actual draw. Each selected entrant must be validated by the Sponsor with proof of selected entrant identity including at least one of the following: (i) a valid Ontario driver’s license with a photo, (ii) a Canadian passport, (iii) Canadian citizenship card with a photo, or a (iv) Canadian armed forces card with a photo.
3. The Quarterly selected entrants will be contacted by email or telephone within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Prize Draw Date. If a Prize selected entrant cannot be reached within fourteen (14) calendar days of the draw date, the selected entrant will be disqualified and another entrant will be randomly selected until such time as contact is made by email, mail or telephone with a selected entrant or there are no more eligible entries, whichever comes first. The Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a Prize selected entrant.
4. To be declared a Prize winner, each selected entrant’s answer to the mathematical skill-testing question must be verified and deemed correct. If a selected entrant’s answer to the mathematical skill-testing question is incorrect, he/she will be disqualified and another entrant will be randomly selected. Each selected entrant may be required to sign a Declaration and Release Form (the “Release Form”) confirming compliance with the official rules, acceptance of a Prize as awarded, without substitution, and releasing the Sponsor, its affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability in connection with any Prize or the Contest. The Release Form must be returned within the time period specified on the Release Form or the Prize will be forfeited. Prizes will be delivered by courier to the winners by the Sponsor, to the address provided on the Release Form of each winner, within thirty (30) days of being declared a Prize winner.
5. The Sponsor accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from the Contest or any prize. By entering, each winner consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and province/state) and/or photographs, without further remuneration, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor with respect to this contest.
6. The Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete or destroyed entries; all such entries are void. The Sponsor will not be liable for any failure of the barcard XPRESS website or liable for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry material/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. The use of an invalid email address will disqualify the entry. Users spamming the same email address will disqualify the entry. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder associated with the email account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry name. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of a valid online entry in this Contest will be the contest server machine(s). In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified.
7. All entries become the permanent property of the Sponsor and none will be returned. No correspondence will be entered into except with the potential winners. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
8. The Sponsor respects your right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants will only be used by the Sponsor to administer the Contest and fulfill any prize requirements.
